@noodleawesome.bsky.social you're gonna love this newsletter from Animation Obsessive where they show how the original Toy Story movie was printed to 35mm film but they seem to have uploaded the digital render (or maybe they re-rendered the film? I didn't read the newsletter yet) to Disney+

this one was suprisingly tricky to get right. The movement of the hand when she ...dusts off??... the grass from ther short wasn't working completely and I had to re-do it like 3 times

Since then until august I’ve had the oportunity to work there on a ton of fun and cool and awesome projects under the direction of a ton of fun and cool and awesome people. I learnt a whole lot.

about a year ago I got hired by Rudo Co. to work as a key animator and animation assistant. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and I am, to this day, wondering how they didn’t fire me immediately
