Wife and I have no children. If asked, I reply my family has been sterile on my Father's side for generations. You'd be surprised at the amount of sympathy this generates!

We don't live far from Cancale and are lucky in that they are delivered to our local PMU every Sunday. Unexpectedly ended up with 20kg of Saint Jacques last week!

Watched it last night, agree was a little underwhelming. However, our signs were all in English, without a French translation to be seen. Including the one you screenshot, no idea why your viewing was different!

We're watching the same programme with the same criteria as yourself. I must admit I've not noticed but will watch the last two episodes this evening and check (hopefully you won't have ruined it for me!)

Article says 'try' would indicate not fluent. I suspect you are. I have a chambre d'hôtes near le Mont. Lot of Dutch German British guests. Majority say if French not spoken correctly a higher % than others make no attempt to understand what you have tried to say. So I would agree with the article.

I live next to a similar plant in Normandy. 8.6 hectares under glass. Partially powered by waste from dairy farm. Plans to extend another 20ha. Vigorous opposition locally. Does little for local economy, limited integration. I have a hostel with 18 young Turks and Bulgarian next door. Loud music.

Technical issues? Disingenuous. MCA won't issue a Passenger Certificate. DFDS should say why. Crew training inadequate or safety equipment failure perhaps.
