Definitely not as flexible as a plugin could be.

In the fork this syntax is only allowed for a new extension .zx (I haven’t spent time looking for a better name). The .zx syntax allows for optional keywords and more improvements like the pipe operator. The .hx files are totally left untouched. So a project could mix both with no issues.

I agree, it is a quality of life improvement that removes bloat.
