Experimeting a little with 3D in Godot. Lots to learn still. Here's just a little 3rd person controller. It has a basic node-based state machine and a camera that follows around and collides with objects so it doesn't get stuck inside.

I gave myself the challenge to make a game in LÖVE over the weekend. I ended up going a little bit over the deadline because I didn't find music for it until Monday morning, but I still consider it a success. This is ASTRO BURST, a basic vertical space shooter game.

Small weekend project. A very simple asteroid buster game. The main gameplay is almost finished. You can move around, shoot asteroids and power up. I have in mind a rogue-like aspect where you exchange your points for upgrades or to unlock said powerups. Will it be too ambitious? #gamedev #indiedev

Early prototype/mockup of my new project. A sort of first person dungeon crawler where you go through rooms until you find the deepest end of the dungeon. The plan is to have very simple turn-based combat, looting and npc's spewing obscure lore. #gamedev #indiedev #godot #pixelart #rpg #retro

After an involuntary break (previous computer died), I'm back on the beginner indie-dev train. With a Flappy Bird clone, of course. It's not the prettiest, but it works and, more importantly, it's finished. Done in Godot this time. I like Godot, usually. #gamedev #indiedev #godot #pixelart

Slowly, things are starting to look like something.

I think I'm finally happy with how collisions work. I spent too much time reinventing the wheel, but I learned a lot in the process
