Could the protests become a Euromaidan in Turkey?
Die Arbeitslosenquote liegt mit 15% aber 2.4mal über der Landesquote. Da geht noch mehr, besonders im Hinblick auf die zuletzt gekommenen (u.a. UkrainerInnen), deren Arbeitsmarktintegration ja schnell voranschreitet.

Es mit Beschwichtiger Kujat aufzunehmen war eine Herausforderung, mein Hauptargument: wenn die Aliierten eine russische Besatzung nicht verhindern, würden weitere 9-19 Millionen Ukrainer fliehen (siehe hier www.pragueprocess.eu/en/resources....
Ich hätte nicht gedacht, daß es gesetzeskonform ist eine ganze Gruppe, willkürlich definiert anhand des Alters, unter Generalverdacht zu stellen. Noch mehr wundert mich, daß soetwas von Juristen kommt.

I would have thought there is another war ongoing within Russia, self-inflicted, against dissidents, civil society, LGBTQ communities, certain groups of immigrants and what not. Can's see any chance for peace and security...

I'm sorry for that! As usual, IMISCOE was terribly oversubscribed, with plenty strong applications, of the 25 or so I reviewed, not yours, it was hard to finding reasons to reject any. Not few were addressing very similar topics though, it seems, so, reviewers might have needed to make a choice?

2. I wonder though where Turkey stands with regards to Russia? Is it prepared to pay the price of joining a coalition of the willing against Russia in order to get into a new European defence club? The benefits could also be a major role in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction boom.
