Just bought this set. I was disappointed to see is several steps back compared to Pathfinder 2e Beginner Box. As the caption says, it doesn't even have the dice...

I can see it been the case, I feel that the contrast of details is too strong. If we pass more time in the digiworld than in the human world it would even be a very reasonable choice.

It has mechanical improvements particularly in the Digimon themselves and in combat. Also the fact that camera isn't fixes anymore.

Storytelling also seems laking in the beginning. You are an active member of an organization but you know nothing? Digimon are an unknown but your Operator knows everything?

It is an improvement that we have access everywhere to the important features of the digilab.

The menu feels super packed, as if they didn't have space. I didn't had that impression in Cyber Sleuth and it has nice in Hacker's Memories. The submenus are worst, they are really generic.

First the faceless background npcs. I really hope that is that they are still working in the models.

I feel that is a step back in a lot of aspects compared to Cyber Sleuth.

From 8 subclasses presented, only 3 are really Forgotten Realms bounds subclasses.
