Haha. I have discovered those leaning left love their Bluesky echo chamber. I belong to no political party whatsoever. I lean neither left nor right.

Now it's being reported Ms Reeves failed to do an impact assessment on the number of farms which may be affected.

Sadly families will have to sell farms that they've worked for generations. These will be bought by big business. Plus farmers are dealing with the NIS hike and increase in minimum wage. Budget for growth LOL

Even if that were the case the revenue from that is miniscule. Raise the threshold to catch the tax Dodgers and leave those who only earn £30K per annum off a £2million farm alone

If they want to get millionaires then raise the threshold. Farmers are asset rich but cash poor. A Welsh upland farm my be worth £5 million but only raise an income of £30K per annum.
