🎥 Proud to present our new video, "Healing Landscapes: A Journey Through Archaeology and Wellbeing in the Mediterranean", which showcases the LOGGIA programme in Italy and Cyprus. The screening set the stage for a participatory photo activity with attendees.

The session explored how cultural engagement can support wellbeing, with a special focus on the Huntington’s community. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the role of time, memory, and creativity in shaping positive experiences.

The #EAA2025 CfP deadline has been extended to 10/2!

Involved in an initiative to benefit people and places through #archaeology? There is still time to submit a paper for session 154, organised by the EAA Public Benefits of Archaeology Advisory Committee, of which I am proud to be a member!

The Postgraduate Cypriot #Archaeology Conference is an annual meeting of young researchers in #Cyprus. This year, I am one of the co-organisers and I thought about including a #Minecraft corner where participants can interact with a Cypriot heritage site, the Tower of Alaminos.Let's see how it goes!

Before the LOGGIA project, I worked on community archaeology programmes, outreach activities at sites and museums, evaluation of programmes and apps, mainly in Italy and Cyprus. I love working with children and with my colleagues from the Archeokids blog we published this handbook in 2022.

Thanks to a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, I implemented the LOGGIA project and worked with resident communities, users of mental health unit and the Huntington's community in Italy and Cyprus. If you want to know more, visit the project website: www.loggia-project.eu

Hi Bluesky, this is Francesco! I am an archaeologist who likes to explore different ways in which society makes sense of the past.

For the last two years, I have been researching how #archaeology can impact people's #wellbeing with a focus on vulnerable groups
