I have a free Notion account, without AI. Today, to work on multiple pages, I downloaded some of them and used Codex to interact. It was too manual, but it was only the first step. The next one will be to use the MCP.

A problem I see with using AI is hoping it can do what we ourselves can’t.
The first goal should be to automate, not demand things more complex than we can manage.

As developers, we’re the only professionals who can tell customers: ‘You can have quality or speed, but not both.’

I don’t dine at starred restaurants often, but I doubt they ask if you want to eat well or within a couple of hours.

How did I use AI today?

I talked with chatGPT, telling how a 1 to 1 I had went. Then I asked for advice and to summarise everything.

The web’s complexity is real. We should aim for the simplest solutions, not turn projects into dev playgrounds.
