Clearly, this is something closely linked to the historical period and cultural context and applying this ‘target filter’ in the 90s was materially impossible. It makes sense that today we are more careful about age limits, and I respect that.

If I had seen Hazbin Hotel as a teen, I probably would have loved it madly. The difference is that this puritanical cult of the internet didn't exist back then. We were free to be teenagers and make teenage thoughts (far from puritanical, if I may say so) without harming ourselves or others.

Honestly, Lucca Comics is one of the worst Con in terms of organization and event management (not to mention other even more problematic issues) 🥲 I'm glad they didn't invite you because it would surely have been chaos, making the event accessible to very few people (as always)
