So now it's not only 'unacceptable' to criticise the Supreme Court, it's also unacceptable to criticise the EHRC (and by implication any other regulator)? They're not exactly beating the charges of authoritarianism

As a lesbian attracted to cis and trans women (and not men), my autonomy and dignity is harmed by the Supreme Court declaring my sexuality 'meaningless'

![The Court concludes that a lesbian “must be a [AFAB] female who is sexually oriented towards (or attracted to) [AFAB] females”. The Court concludes that female here cannot include trans women, as the “concept of sexual orientation” would be “rendered meaningless”, and in its opinion, wrongly affect the composition of lesbians as a group.
The Court claims this would lead to an “inevitable loss of autonomy and dignity for lesbians”. It points to evidence from gender-critical groups like the LGB Alliance and The Lesbian Project to make this argument. They claim the inclusion of trans women is having a ‘chilling effect on lesbians’ to associate in lesbian-only spaces. If trans women are accessing rape crisis centres it is *because they have been raped* and traumatised, usually by men. A point that should be obvious, but apparently we need to keep saying it

Am I losing it or is the Guardian suddenly pumping out pro-trans content in the wake of the Tory party conference? I can't imagine seeing this in the UK version even 6 months ago... A tipping point maybe, or am I too optimistic?
