A wee reminder of the eligibility criteria:

✨ All nominees (+ the person nominating) must identify as emerging/early-career artist

✨ This includes any discipline! They could be a designer, technician, producer, dramaturg, writer…..literally any role! 

✨ Nominees must be based in Scotland

Nominations are anonymous - you are very welcome to nominate yourself or others. Please only submit a nomination if you are an emerging/early-career theatre maker.

Nominations close: Monday 13th October @ 5pm ⏰

Anyone who identifies as an emerging or early-career Scotland-based theatre maker is eligible. This could be technicians, designers, producers, writers, directors, performers & so many more!

This might be:

✨ an individual who has improved their practice or had a big year creatively.
✨ a company who has done brilliant work (in which case you’d nominate the group behind the company).
✨ a show that you loved (in which case you’d nominate the creative team behind it).

This year we have revamped SETA. Instead of having categories, we will be selecting 12 artists (or groups of artists) to receive a 2025 Scottish Emerging Theatre Award 🏆

These are all PAID roles (SM: £2103,50 + Access & Travel Support, Designers: £3211.50 + Access & Travel Support) for artists who:

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Are based in Scotland
💫 Have an interest in pursuing a career in the relevant role
🎭 Identify as an emerging/early-career artist

💰 Fee: £1019.84 inclusive of Holiday Pay (breaking down to 7 days work at £130/day, + Holiday Pay at 12.07%)

📆 Commitment:
Prep: 2 days (flexible)
Rehearsals: 13th, 14th, 15th, 17th November
Show: 18th November
