That's a very influential article and it captures a good deal about what happened. However, there is a lot missing, too. I wrote a masters these on the MAX 8 crashes that seeks to explain just how complex the failure was. I'd love to get feedback from people. www.bradivie.com/podcast

There was a tremendous amount of misinformation and misunderstanding about the MAX case. I've tried to capture the entire story in a new podcast series. I'd love your thoughts. (www.bradivie.com/podcast).

John - I'm just now getting engaged in social media on this tragic case after writing a masters thesis on the MAX 8 case. I was very surprised what I learned when digging deep into the Ethiopian crash. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this episode of my series (www.bradivie.com/episodes/ep-08).

I agree. What's fascinating about the how story, however, is how many dimensions there are that led to the crashes - all a part of the terrible story. Some just blame the Boeing executives. Others, regulation. I sought to capture the entire "clustershambles" in a podcast (www.bradivie.com/podcast).

Flying Blind is a great book. My one criticism, however, is that it focuses almost exclusively on failures in executive leadership, which is just one dimension of many leading to failed technology. I lay out the entire story in my recent podcast series (www.bradivie.com/podcast).

The English have a more polite version: "clustershambles".
