(2/3) We wrap up the exhibition by bringing the act of remembering back to its source: the migrant women workers from Turkey. Three of the women interviewed during the project join sağ in conversation about their experiences of working at the onion factory and resisting its exploitative conditions.

(3/4) Drawing on feminist materialisms and decolonial ecologies, the session focuses on life altered by toxic substances, distorted institutions and racial mattering. Lee and Arndt interrogate these hazardous conditions together with participants, working from within this exposed state.

(2/4) During the session, Lee and Arndt critically examine the idea of bodies as self-contained, autonomous entities, and instead exchange and activate artistic practices that take the 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 as their starting point.

(2/2) The publication explores the possibilities and forms of 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, examining how we create relationships with and in the world. Dittel and Rostkowska delve into kinship as something to be made and not given.

(3/5) Through sessions on decolonial reparation, institutional responsibility, community and care, the symposium asks how we can we resist dominant paradigms while imagining new forms of ownership, value and repair.
