If the argument is "this shows the page owner their active fans" well, again I've hardly interacted with these pages and every time it's only because of the algorithm pushing it.

If I had a page and saw someone had a badge, I wouldn't care. It's completely useless.

I only buy from these places if I really can't find what I need elsewhere.

Oh man, I used to love this stupid game. Everyone shat on it back in the day but it was fun.

Trying to make a quick buck on fans dying for new content. Then they'll justify shelving the series because "well that mobile game didn't sell well" 🥴

I do think we need to step outside our comfort zones to think/reflect on whether our new (some would call it "modified") western values will provide a positive long-term outcome for the culture. If we don't talk about it now, we might eventually be too far gone to do anything about it.

It's an immensely difficult conversation because this is what we've been raised to believe NEEDS to happen for a peaceful society. After what I've seen the last few years, I don't think a truly peaceful society is achievable. Especially as we now realize government-funded division is real.

Outrage comes from outside the DEI marketing itself imo. Morality/values are creating a massive divide in western societies right now, largely because the other side was silenced for almost 20 years. Now there's a sort of "obligation" to speak up else the dying culture of yesteryear could vanish.

Oh man no way, I'd love to finally try this

Not like they were ever top-tier material (delve into their albums to find some real trashy music) but a lot of it was still fun. Just thinking about how popular they WERE, it's so bizarre how completely forgotten they are today.
