Would be interesting to hear how they start a new site with automation. How much manual configuration is needed before the network is ready for automation to take over.

They don’t want to hear the real answer. The same as they don’t want to explain the real reason they want more women to join that [STEM_JOB]

It’s super performative and an obvious political favor play for the incoming administration. But it’s wild to see how many apps have been impacted. It kind of opens my eyes to how much influence bytedance has in our apps

There are some clear and obvious grammar issues in a lot of media I’ve consumed over the recent years. But some of that I accept because it may help with people’s ability to picture it. Others to your point are really redundant. Like “ATM machine” or “naan bread”

As a reader I actually prefer pierced through to describe that a sword for example came out the other side.

Where pierced I would imagine it went in one side but not the other. It only pierced the front side of their armor / flesh / etc.

I’ll have to give this a listen, I recently joined a new company where ipv6 is used along side ipv4. And I have yet to wrap my head around why.

Prosumer to me is small / medium business level like UniFi. Though they are also making advancement in tech that might see them used in enterprise environments.

I think when people say enterprise they are actually thinking about large campus designs or datacenter networks.

If you don’t need more advanced features on your equipment, Meraki is solid as performing in an office environment. The main downside is needing support for advanced troubleshooting as most logs are hidden to the admins
