Reading medieval wills has the intimacy of a love letter and a dying breath, a hoardheld honours grip on legacy and a measure of piety, all wrapped up in the poetry of legalisms. Beautiful examples thanatological concerns then and now. Also, yes, you should all have your death plans in place.
