I finally snapped some photos of this simple quilt I have been making for a while. It was meant to be just a whatever, do it badly-project. Sometimes you need to finish something rather than overthink. It makes me happy to think these random fabrics will be useful now!

This weeks #showmeyourknits : scarves! I don’t knit lots of those anymore, but luckily I made this earlier this year, mostly just because of the interesting brioche pattern. It’s the #heartisaspadeshawl . A shawl can be a scarf sometimes, right?

A finished #succulentshawl, blocked and all! This is the first xmas present for this year so I feel very good about having it ready so early. I have so many ideas for gifts I want to make this winter and I am very motivated to get it done. My friend who is getting this is not on this platform yet 😄

Finished this in june and gave it to my mother for her birthday. It was not the easiest thing I ever made, but it turned out very stunning, I think! Lovely use of #briocheknitting . The garter is sort of uneven, from all the dec./incs. but I feel the gray tweed yarn I used makes that more cohesive

Finished this in june and gave it to my mother for her birthday. It was not the easiest thing I ever made, but it turned out very stunning, I think! Lovely use of #briocheknitting . The garter is sort of uneven, from all the dec./incs. but I feel the gray tweed yarn I used makes that more cohesive
Scrap projects are the theme for this weeks #showmeyourknits . I love collecting all my leftovers and putting them together in new ways. I can see all those old projects like memories in the new garment. Some of my best projects have been scrappy actually 😍

Knitting on my second #fieldcardigan these days. And harvesting some things from my garden. I have been laughing about this singular radish that I grew. I had been eating the sprouts and had forgotten them. And suddenly I had this volunteer ♥️😄 #knitting

This project was quite a journey, and I am glad I had the time to think in between each step. All those cool @wfmu.bsky.social designs are so fun to include. Boyfriend is always wearing 1. wfmu merch and 2. arctic merch from his jobs. So I hope I have made him one more favourite here.

#memademay2025 I spent the last days of May finishing the wool hoodie with some hand stitching. All done and given away today, just in time before boyfriend goes to the arctic again ♥️

#memademay2025 Day 28: making piping ribbon by folding this old acrylic yarn in a band of jersey I cut from one of the t-shirts. I got all these pieces topstitched on the main fabric tonight. Now to figure out where the applique goes.

I see now how this heart and the island shape sort of echo. Interesting! It also will say «Jim Price I love you» inside the hood. So I guess the theme overall is arctic island love 😅

#memademay2025 Day 27: getting som ironing and pinning done this evening. The 2 t-shirt prints in the photo have gotten #vlisofix on, so they will be appliquees. One step closer on my project.

All the fabrics prewashed, so tonight I got started on cutting out all the pieces for the hoodie. I love having a bit of time for each step. I layed it out how it will go, and took photos, so now I can have a look at those until I have time for the next step.

#memademay2025 Day 17: wearing my 45 year old #rogalandbunad. Shirt embroidered by my grandmother and wool embroideries done by my mother. I changed out all the silver ribbons this year and had all the silver pieces cleaned. Lots of work but it turned out so nice!

#memademay2025 Day 10: as always, daily selfies are a difficult thing. I don’t have the energy to «look nice» everyday. And I also do not have the confidence to share photos where I look less than nice (to myself. I know objectively I am a normal human and there is nothing wrong with my looks)…
