50s here, the number of BBQs, parties etc. I have been to where no music made after the early 2000s is too many to count.

Same with concerts. Friends who will spend $80-100 to see a tribute band, >$200 to see aging rock bands, but cant be bothered to spend $25 to see a new band playing originals.

I live a few miles away, it is amazing to head out there at dusk and watch
