Without reading the article, my guess is that they championed conservatives speaking out against things like getting vaccinated to now wanting to stop anyone from daring to mention that trans people exist or criticizing this administration.

It’s amazing that we’ve come all the way back around to company towns. I grew up in a small coal mining city in Pennsylvania learning about the horrors of how the mine owners treated and exploited this kind of power, and at 35 years old, I’m watching it happen again.
