For me WorldWide Web is getting less and less interesting. Just a shallow ghost of what it used to be. It's not exciting, it's not interesting, it's not fun. Back in 2004 it was such a delightful place with its own quirks, but now... it's bland. Boring. Stupid.
And it'll only get worse.

Recently I was trying to find a good video to watch about liminal spaces, about y2k or frutiger aero, but... it was full of 14yo repeating same shit over and over and over and over and over and over again: NOSTALGIC, NOSTALGIA, NOSTALGIC. Deep dives are shallow as fuck.

Twitter was a nice place, now it's rotten, full of bots and OF whores. Twitch was fun and interesting, now it's just a place where men go to waste their money on yet another girl flashing her big tits. YouTube was... it was fun. Now it's a garbage bin.

We don't talk, we don't interact, we choose our idols and we choose our ideologies willing to die on the weirdiest hills instead of just enjoy our little digital paradise. Internet was turned into a money laundry, everything in 2k23 MUST bring profit, otherwise no one needs it.

Every twitch whore is the same, every youtube "content creator" is the same, every video is just of another talking head, everyone just tries to copy the most successful ones and with that we just... lost all the fun. Lost all the spark that the old Internet had.

The old Internet is slowly disappearing, going dark, going silent, sites are closing, platforms are dissolving, the actually good creators leave and move on leaving us with mindless army of bots and low quality bootleg copies of the big names.
