I found a thimble tucked in my needle felting supplies, so this quilt is becoming a lot less painful. I did sew the spidey fabric on the wrong side of a block.. entirely. That was my queue to end the night after removing it and putting it in the right side. 🥲

He is already so excited for it, and it’s definitely rubbing off on me. He’ll be picking out his alternative print tomorrow ☺️

I want to give fpp a go once I complete this Spider-Man quilt and my younger child’s Minnie Mouse. It’s so daunting though by hand. I’ve been debating on possibly getting a small secondhand Brother to toy with.

The first four blocks have been pieced together. Hand stitching these suck, my thumb hurts. But!! Getting somewhere!!

I need to pick up some more fabrics bc my son decided he didn’t like some of what we had (valid!!!) but general layout!! I can’t decide if I want the red or the blue sashing down the center column. He wants blue between the outer rows

I admire folks who can quilt, and when I worked at the green craft store i would collect cotton prints with the dream of one day being brave enough to try it.

Almost 13 years later, I’m finally gonna do it!
