Nothing fancy just utterly taking the piss

Only possible issue that’s reasonable w.r.t. this transfer is whether it’s gonna make us miss out on signing someone in another, more urgent, position. Otherwise I’m really happy we finally have some back up for Saka.

I’m not gonna be ecstatic about the signing, but it’s sure as hell better than not signing a striker at all this summer if that’s the alternative.

Can’t believe it…

On the other hand, this is a guy who would be on the end of every low cross from Saka which might be enough tbh.

Also what’s ironic is that if we switch Merino for Joao Neves I’m pretty sure we win comfortably yesterday. We’re so close to being unplayable but we still lack that last bit of individual quality.
