Late June 2024 was a sliding doors moment for Newcastle.
Contemplated selling Gordon, but instead sold Anderson + Minteh for PSR reasons.
If it went the other way, we'd have one of England's best midfielders + wouldn't spend £55m on Elanga, while selling the absolute dud that is Gordon.
