My gf and the majority of my family are catholic. So the idea of me being in favour of the orange order is farcical and that’s why it works as a joke. But I shouldn’t have to explain that over the internet if you just listened to what I’ve been saying rather than sticking with an image you created

I played along with a joke other people started way before, and it was a joke that started because it was obvious I wasn’t that, otherwise it would be a strange joke

I’ll never defend the 12th as for unionism, meh. If the majority want to remain in the UK they should, if the majority want Ireland united then it should. But I think that decision either way should be made from what’ll provide the highest quality of life not based on emotion and tribalism
