I'm always a book first person, 100%. Sometimes the movie doesn't match how I imagined things. That can be a good thing, but movie adaptations often miss some of the nuances

That sounds amazing. I was stuck with a weirdly territorial MT kid who tried to get me to move out halfway through the year. I refused, so she left and a sorority girl with anger (and other) issues moved in

I haven't done any since Malifaux several years ago, but I'm really interested in designing and painting scenery since it's a very similar skill set as scale scenic models for theater!

I have a couple of minis I painted from Malifaux! I never got very into it but I'm still really proud of my models

I mean. The advice I would give a stranger is, starting grad school when the world is on fire is not the best idea for one's mental health, so take that for whatever it's worth
