Charmaine Lee show last night was utterly mind boggling. Felt like my body was stretched apart and put back together in ways that made no sense. Genuinely never heard/felt anything like it. She's got a month left and if she comes near your town, you should really be going to see that.

Killer show on Monday at Drifters in Tulsa. Charmaine Lee is rolling through. Godseye (Nathan Young, Eden Hemming, & myself) is reforming for the first time in 15 years to perform poems by Alejandra Pizarnik and Elizabeth Bishop. PLUS Sarah Ruth Alexander & White Boy Scream. COME THROUGH!

Big project shifts ahead. Love to be vague, sorry. More about where it's all headed soon, probably, cuz I've got clarity like I've never had. It's wild. (news on a new "label" real soon)

Here's a small selection of recent work.

Don't forget to hire me for all your music-adjacent needs.

I had way too much fun facilitating, curating, and working with Aaron Smith on his show at The Bird House, "Obtuse Social Cues." Saturday was a blast. Here's a picture + a few of my recent bits.

1) A view inside The Bird House on Saturday
2) Small Rubble
3) Rods & Cones #3
4) Time Block

Well that was one of the best sound-related experiences of my life. Holy crap. Jupiter, we opened some kind of portal.

Bringing you my doofy mug to remind and encourage you to hire me for your various music/art-related needs. I would be thrilled to write you a new bio, master your record, design an album cover or poster, or whatever else, really.

Get in touch.

I'm old.

Just took off my socks in front of one of my cats (who is very dumb) and he completely freaked out. Must have thought I was taking off my feet. He's lived here for a year and every day is like the first day he's ever been alive (did I mention he's very dumb? Very sweet, but also dumb).

I've done a lot of awesome stuff over the years, but having Charlie draw the cover for Foxy Digitalis #3 is still up there. I now want to design "Eclairs & Fashion!" t-shirts.

And of course, the first ever non-tape release I put out. Highlights include Diskothi-Q's cover of The Cars (featuring @themountaingoats.bsky.social on backing vox), Wonderboy (one of the greatest Canadian bands nobody knows about), Ramon Speed (king of Omaha), & the late, great Charlie McAlister.

A bunch of solo tapes from around the same time (95/96). Most of it very bad, though it was the start of my (still going) obsession with interesting paper stock. Those two yellowish covers have such a good texture.

Still stuck at home w/ the kid in distance learning (stupid ice & snow). Went through a closet and some old tape boxes. Forgot about this (terrible) band I was in and this tape from 1995, but "Thai Food For Maggie" remains an excellent album title. (everything else about it is awful)
