After saying good-bye to Spartacus on Monday, our sweet baby girl, Athena passed away in the early hours of Friday morning from kidney failure. We knew her end was near, but at least we were able to keep her on painkillers. She was my constant companion. This has been an extremely rough week.

I've been really quiet the last few days because we had to say good by to our beloved cat, Spartacus. He had a cancerous lesion in his mouth, and it got to the point where he could barely eat and was a mess and miserable. So we said good-bye to him, today. We will miss him dearly...
