By announcing continued support for The #Sims 4, EA/Maxis have doubled down on permitting this franchise to rot under a mountain of expansion pack content in a trend that was old and tired when it was The Sims 3. With #InZOI stepping up to the plate it may be too late for a course correction from EA

Full disclosure, I've been playing flagship #Sims games on PC since the original (so 1-4). As much as the life simulation genre was established by the Sims, EA/Maxis decisionmaking with this franchise has caused it to stall out hard since 4 was announced let alone now 10 years since release.
