Idk why it’s so important to me. Clearly kids aren’t permanently damaged by the Santa thing (far as I know).

I grew up enjoying Santa as a fictional character. We even had a “gift from Santa” and played pretend that he was real while fully aware he wasn’t. It was fun! No magic lost!

I found that the more I explain myself, the less people care about the explanation, and the more they judge me for over-explaining. Now I explain as little as possible and get very similar results, except now I seem less desperate which is cool I guess

Any chance it’s the other person’s fault? Some businesses particularly have a weird system their emails go through, and it can drop a bunch of unnecessary extra repeats of the thread and stuff into their emails.
