All my life I've treated books like they belong to the authors who wrote them and felt as I was just borrowing them they should be treated with the respect of a lent item. Accepting that they actually are mine and I won't be judged for a dog-eared page or god forbid marginalia has been very freeing

Really looking forward to the talk you're giving in Exeter on the 9th! Will the books be shipped out after because I purchased one with the ticket :)
