WIP - I'm in my pretentious metaphor era.
“Just close your eyes, Prince. It’ll be over soon.” It’s never over. Not for him. He dreams that he’s chased through ocean waves that churn and crash against him. He cannot run fast enough. Fanged fish dog at his ankles, but he cannot go to shore. The great lion follows him on the shore. It catches him. Over and over again, he runs, and he is too slow, and the lion pounces. He runs and he stumbles and he fails, and the lion forces him down, down, down. He struggles under its weight, but the lion pins him down and its mane tickles his neck and drool runs on his skin and he’s torn apart. Over and over and over again. Each time Sanji gets up, and the fish nip at his flesh and his blood colors the waves that threaten to drag him down to the depths and he kicks and screams and fights. Each time, the lion chases. And each time, it catches him.

WIP Wednesday - "Shadows on the Wall" - Sanji is not having an easy time. How would you, though? That was some messed-up shit.
All he’d dreamed about in that god-forsaken cave had been escaping and coming back to the crew. All he’d wanted was to see their faces. He just wanted to be home. He wanted to see everyone again, and cook for them again, and go to the sea with them again. Now, he can’t even look at them. Shame burns in his lungs, crawling up his throat and sitting hot and heavy behind his eyes. Every beat of his heart just drives it in deeper. He’s so fucking ashamed. He wants to believe in them, wants to believe his crew still cares about him, but he can’t imagine that they could. He’s so fucking dirty now, stained and filthy and he thinks he should be able to see it seeping from his skin, this vileness that’s crawled inside of him, but when he blinks his eyes open all he sees is the clean linens on the infirmary cot, sees his own arms hidden under a clean, soft hoodie, smells Zoro’s minty hair through the snot in his nose from holding tears back. All this comfort feels wrong. Just a week ago, it would have been normal, but the past few days feel like they’ve lasted an entire lifetime.

I think I have to disappoint here. My tastes aren't that dark - I get squeamish about anything too violent. Uh, "Chivalry Makes Dead" was pretty extreme. "Lightweight" by DamianFinch is obviously one I'd rec. I'm a weenie about anything too too dark. "Ravenous Beasts" or any of my dofsan for me.

It's highly contextual! Really depends on what story you're telling? I love them sexual for smut stories, I think romantic would be super fun except then I always want to turn it into east blue polycule, but my favorite probably is like a close qpr type situation. I love them as friends a lot.

If I had to say anything was underrated... hm. Probably "handle it" could have gotten more love. It's a little niche - genderbent dofcora noncon - but I like it. And in a brighter world, "Come One, Come All" would have sparked off a thousand clown sex fics. But I'm not unhappy with it. :)
