I try to approach this from a standpoint of trusting my readers/players as the default. At a certain point you just gotta actually dig in and work to understand the thing you want to engage with when it comes to art, and TTRPGs are no exception!
You know I've thought about it and I don't think you ever need to take bad faith readers into account when you design games. "What if someone plays this with an awful table and abuses these rules?" not my problem. Make better friends. Cultivate a better hobby. Shun those assholes from society.

I'm currently working on two TTRPGs - one is an improv-focused TTRPG called "One Foot In" about the moments before an impending duel to the death. The other is a game using the MARKED&MADE system called RIFLE AND REVOLUTIONARY which focuses on the necessity of revolutionary violence-
