I talked to my bank about a refi yesterday, and as of now, about 36 hours later, I have had 44 spam calls and 7 spam texts about it.

"It's ok to refuse to commit a crime" is somehow inciting rebellion and worthy of death. I guess prices really are out of control. I don't think gas has been this high since Dubya.

Yesterday, I donated to a local food bank. Today, I went and socialized with strangers. Not sure how I'm going to make it through the month now, having burned through all of my social energy budget.

Did you know that regular citizens can write proposals for legislation for their state legislators to consider sponsoring as bills? Or alternatively, we can write referendum questions? Like that's just regular people doing that.

Not really sure who needs to hear it, but it's a violation of the first amendment when the government issues an order to private companies to tell them to censor specific speech, not when your neighbor says they are offended about the flag you're flying in your porch.

Just thinking about how they're going to redefine teenagers as adults so it's not a crime to have sex with 13 year olds anymore.
