I keep all of my paper receipts for about a year before destroying them. So I went through receipts today and found the last few receipts from the two days before my life changed. I guess these must have been inside my car so they weren't burned.

A year ago this cat was not a lap cat. She got on my lap a few times to convince me to adopt her and then she stopped sitting in my lap. I googled how to encourage cats to like laps. Then I disappeared for 3 weeks (when I was hospitalized) and now she's very much a sweet cuddly lap cat. #dottiedaily

And here he is! Robbie! He gave me permission to share this photo and his story: Elizabeth saw him and yelled out his name and they had a moment. He made friends with someone in line who held his hand when he was super nervous. And he made sure to come back to my table to tell me how it went!

I may need to retire The Box. It is a cardboard box that when full of t-shirts, weighs exactly 50 lbs. It is reinforced by years of packing tape. Over 1 inch of packing tape thickness. It weighs just 6 lbs. My LAX curbside check-in vendor just changed their policies on accepting cardboard boxes.

AND his Daredevil suit IS UNDERNEATH MEMENTOS OF HIS FATHER, who didn't want him to fight. So he set up his storage so that EVERYTIME he chooses Daredevil, he needs to LITERALLY set aside his father's expectations.
