The Bisclavret retelling GOT me 😂 And oo, I read their Haunted History of Invisible Women at your recommendation a couple years ago and it was great! I am not immune to gothicism (both thematically and aesthetically), so this new one looks extra exciting

Whatever topics you're looking for in YA, there's a good chance they're actually being published. They're just being done by marginalized authors and you're not reading them. But the fewer people who read and promote those books, the less likely we are to see them again. Read more widely!

the YEARNING, the MEDIEVALISM, the werewolfism as an analogy for chronic illness, the romance (chivalric and otherwise), the luscious prose, the poetry chapters!!
