Not sure on the timing you reference, but I would have liked to see Dems at least TRY repeating the simple message that Trump/Reps don’t want anything to work. Food, health care, flights, gov’t all in shambles to see if they could get some additional momentum before a vote.

With a Single Spell by @wattevans.bsky.social There are several examples of magic behaving unpredictably in this novel, but the accidental creation of a spriggan-generating mirror by an inexperienced wizard is the first one that came to mind.
