Live in Sask.
Old techie 71, generalist, tree planter, bus driver, broadcast tech, hitch hiker, farmer. Yet to get to Africa, Australia, Antarctica, or South America. Design electronics, read but can't afford my old 60 book / month habit . Fix most things.
15 years ago, Saskatchewan was between doctors for bone marrow transplants, so Canada sent me and my brother to Seattle and paid the bills. In Canada the procedure would have cost the medical system $150,000.00 ( my brother worked for Sask Health so I trust his numbers ). $500,000.00 in USA.

If you have a bit of time, you may find Elon's grandfather enlightening. Grok showing a family connection?

While humans look like a bad idea, Earth probably didn't earn this.

I prefer driving at night. Often hundreds of kilometers from the nearest town, sometimes from the nearest human. At home the milky way is easy to see, Alcor is a naked eye object, and I have spent hours resting on top of my car, just off the road.

It does take a special understanding of physics, biology and logistics to suffocate in a pipe.
If they even knew the gas industry, this would be called a confined space and there are all sorts of procedures and warnings.
Maybe it is better to not interrupt the Russians when they are making mistakes.

A bit off topic but, is there anything to DOGE firing 400 NNSA staff?

Loss of homes is tragic enough, really hope there isn't anything for the dogs to find.

Statistical weighting of phrases is going to produce insights ( randomly ) as an artifact of the redundancy in language. Probably better to practice kalsarikännit and record the most profound insites from that. Still a bad idea but potentially humourous.

But did you find "Y2K compliant" stickers on flashlights?

The scammer phone calls tell me that I am lying when I tell them that I am not running windows. Then curse at me for blowing a brass whistle into the phone.

As an outside observer, I would wish otherwise but, they will probably deny events remain loyal.

Maybe some talented graphic artists can produce a single page leaflett, condensed version, of Adam Smith's "The Wealth Of Nations" and have it staring Donald Trump.

Interesting that his view seems focused on his own pet peeves.

I'm sure that I am just adding to similar comments but, it was Vista that convinced me to try Linux, and I never had the coutesy to thank Microsoft.
Ubuntu is well supported and has an active community.
