Second this! I still use a 5.11 battle belt as my comp rig for both PCC and CO!

I guess that's possible, so long as the stylus isn't conductive and the spring that launches the stylus out of the jack wouldn't interfere with the plug...

True that! And stuff like the Holosun MOS screws directly into the slide without a plate

Don't forget that if you get an MOS, some model year plate screws are pretty weak. Replace the plate and screws when you get the chance!
