I think that's a good comparison. Pynchon's novels take place in this shared culture of the time, each weird idea or story fragment or rumor used to soften out that edge between real events and fiction. It is always so much fun.

I appreciate that you did a better job maintaining the angle the original was attempting. Many of the redraws solved the problem by picking a much less steep angle.

When you go back to dead guy land or whatever for the heart bosses, you don't lose resources on tools, including what you spent making more if you are using the architect crest. I had fun abusing tools for those fights, I really wish it was always like that.
