I hope this is a joke

Either way, I hope you're alright

There is always something to give hope if you look hard enough ❤️

I entirely agree that this has been a good window overall

Now let's get into them NUFC!!!

Entirely my experience.

It was mildly entertaining then descended into utter garbage

Indeed. It depends how much damage has been done to the soft tissue.

Burn had a recurrent problem which evidently didn't involve serious damage to the soft tissue as he managed to continue playing for many games with it strapped up

As an exiled Geordie, I'll be watching at home in Stavanger with my 13 year old who is 50% British but 100% Geordie!

Keep up your great work by the way (including the podcast!). Always much appreciated!

NUFC 🖤🤍

I can't wait for Monday!

Bring it on!!! NUFC 🖤🤍

Not that I'll try to say NUFC have executed a good transfer window, but having bids for Ekitike and Sesko accepted 2 and (was it) 4 weeks ago was not waiting until late in the window

They have tried very hard earlier and continue to try now later in the window

They've not sat on their hands

Whilst I wish this were true it is not

The oil fund has pulled investment from around 10 companies in recent weeks, but still has shares in around 50

The prime minister, on a TV debate last night, said that they would not be immediately pulling out of the remainder
August 12, 2025 at 11:39 AM
Very well said. We're all in this together as fans. It would be great if this was a level playing field, but life is not like that anyway either.
For fans to get this annoyed and full of bile is understandable but the target of the abuse is misplaced.

Hahaha!

Beach House are fantastic!
I was in a crowd of about 30 who saw them at Checkpoint in Stavanger back in around 2008

I'm an expat who's been living in Norway for the last 18 years

I appreciate, so much, the online community

Though I was lucky enough to watch the game in a pub in Stavanger surrounded by Toon fans from far and wide

I just can't believe that we've won something!!
March 17, 2025 at 12:32 AM
I love that!

There are all kinds of reasons why we end up supporting the Toon

I'm from Newcastle and have done my best to spread the word far and wide

You're all welcome to be part of this great family, supporting this great team!

What a day!

🖤🤍

So true
March 2, 2025 at 12:43 AM
It is always the time
March 2, 2025 at 12:42 AM
Indeed, trully horrendous, but Newcastle fans didn't get a vote in who bought the club

I wish we weren't owned by that shocking regime, but after a long time of wrestling with it, I concluded that I won't let them steal my club from me

It does hurt though

I suspect the problem is that there is a correlation between income and xenophobia

If this is true, to a high enough degree, even a referendum, a return to the EU and significant economic improvement (unlikely in this term), would lead to Labour losing votes at the next election
February 17, 2025 at 9:52 PM
The sad thing is that Labour chose their red lines ruling out a return this term, presumably to make sure latent and plain sight xenophobes voted for them

I'm hoping that they manage a second term and then call a referendum!
