There was a little thrill of exhilaration that washed through her. She’d been in battlefields and gun fights and running away from a therapy session with her love was exciting her more.

A tight grip on his hand and a picked up pace as she begins to run with him through the facility.

Don’t tell the boys, they’ll get jealous.

Best friends, occasional lovers, always ride or die.

There was a faint glance towards the therapists door, her head tilted just a fraction as she listened to something.

And then she was up on her feet and pulling Bucky’s hand to head towards the exit.

“Right now.”

“We should totally bail. Right now.”

But she didn’t make an attempt to move, her hand just gripping his that little bit tighter.

Everything always seemed just that much easier with him at her side.

Her eyes are focused on the wall in front but there’s a small smile that pulls at the corners of her lips when he moves closer.

Hand reaching for his, she’d slip her fingers between his own and offer a small squeeze as she did.

Settles down beside him.

“They have you doing this too?”
