I feel ya

Trying hard to not be nihilistic these days, so maybe I’ll just post my political frustrations and thoughts here, since doing so anywhere else feels like an incredible waste of time.

Will they ever see anything other than memes of all the “woke” people being upset, complete with Trump saying things that just aren’t true to realize that grocery prices are worse or that climate disasters are happening exactly as predicted?

We’re all so insulated in our bubbles it feels increasingly difficult to break through. I would take solace in knowing that this Trump term is going to be a train wreck, but with media being what it is, I wonder if X entrenched conservatives will actually ever know that.

It’s not “we just have different viewpoints”, it’s “we have different science.” (I would argue mine is actual science) It would be great to have real debate over solutions to factual reality, but it feels like in the social media age, that is just out the window.
