Haha, I was thinking something similar actually - the core drill from Gurren Lagann. One of my favourite anime but also a reminder that I always have the power to change the future for the better, something I've been thinking about a lot after this year.

In 2020 I was sad about being locked down during Halloween, so I posted a spooky song on Facebook every day during October. It was fun so I've kept it up each year (minus a break in 2023), but with how FB sucks now I'm expanding my posts to Bluesky this year.

In 2020 I was sad about being locked down during Halloween, so I posted a spooky song on Facebook every day during October. It was fun so I've kept it up each year (minus a break in 2023), but with how FB sucks now I'm expanding my posts to Bluesky this year.

Finally, TREND ALERT: spooky dinosaurs! I don't care for the skeletons (what kind of dinosaur ARE they, honestly) but the costumed dog toys are adorable. And if I had a yard big enough for a 1.07m inflatable witch Tyrannosaurus, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

A "zombie beaver" apparently. It looks fuck-all like a beaver but Zombeavers is a movie that exists and I can't resist terrible puns, so sure, fine, it's a zombeaver.

Spotlight has some neat odds and ends, like this mermaid skeleton. The inflatables are pretty neat too. I'm not sure how long that cooler will last unless the rubber is really thick. The spider on the tombstone reminds me a lot of Blackarachnia from Transformers!

TK Maxx is insane, as usual. If I were a suburban white mum I would buy everything. As it is I'm poor but I have a mighty need for that UFO snow globe.
Also, since when was Summerween more than just a gag in Gravity Falls? It's been all over the place this year.

Kmart is going hard on being *the* Halloween store in Australia, they've easily got the biggest range of the major chains. The giant bone spider is a bit big for me, but the windup toys are adorable. And I love the sensory play toys, they're just nice and inclusive.

So it reset yesterday into another carnivore. I decided to only play one of the three games with it and to avoid snacks, and it evolved into Spinosaurus. Kinda funny that I got both of the spinosaurs on the device in my first two goes haha

Tamagotchi update: it evolved yesterday into Baryonyx! Apparently it'll last three days and then reset into either another baby carnivore or a herbivore. I'm kinda hoping for a herbivore so I can try for a Triceratops.

New beepy thing arrived in the mail: the Jurassic World Rebirth Tamagotchi Nano. Compared to other digital pets I've had it's very simple, and it's been easy to take care of so far. It should evolve tomorrow I think, curious what it'll turn into.
