Quite the twist on this story from state media... The city voted 5-1 so Fox decided it was more important to talk about the lone dissenter because that person matches the administration view.

Explain to me how this makes sense. They say, clearly, that, ordinarily, you can't appeal a TRO. Then they say this isn't technically an appeal, but a stay pending an appeal. Doesn't the fact that it's pending an appeal mean that the stay shouldn't be valid since they just said appeals aren't?

I'm not a lawyer, but this isn't breaking and entering to me. NC requires intent to commit a felony or larceny for that crime in a motor vehicle. Good luck convincing a jury that was the case. I doubt any prosecutor would take it.
