Yeah, he’s not a world beater but I be thing I’d say for Craig is that he’s always fit and available - he even fits into midfield when asked to even though he’s clearly uncomfortable there. Think him and Petrasso have been pretty solid despite not arriving as triallists

Yeah, I haven’t seen much to get excited by. I don’t think he’s anywhere near as good on the ball as Campbell either… I’d probably say I’ve been more impressed with Craig and he’s given much less hype

I was actually going to say the same thing. I’ve only seen him on tv but he looks a little too lightweight for a centre back. He needs to put on some weight and beef up a bit!

Completely agree on Neal! I know the guys on The Ball is Round love him but even when he’s fit (which is rare) I’m not all that impressed. Certainly not a patch on Campbell. Hopefully he’ll improve next season and actually get a run of games together!

That’s a good shout and makes sense. Fingers crossed the longer term investment in Escobar will pay off. He’s certainly got a lot of ability

Looking forward to checking out Gervais, thanks again for sharing!

Yes, I saw pictures of the blizzard!

I hadn’t seen this, Mark! Thank you! How do you feel about this?

Thanks Mark, I’ll enjoy digesting this! 👍👍👍

I guess we should applaud the hierarchy for moving swiftly and decisively then 👍 Onwards and upwards (hopefully)

So sad that real fans are being priced out

True and I think they’ve both been good too. I think all the preseason signings barring vrioni have been successes. Herbers and Neal have shown enough when fit (not fit often enough though). I think we just needed a couple more signings in key positions.

Petrasso only. He’s been one of the few success stories of the season given that he was a triallist

Totally get that mate, I’d be the same… it’s a bigger tournament these days and some of the games won’t be necessarily that interesting/inviting on paper

Wow! 4.5 million applicants in the lottery!!
October 1, 2025 at 6:40 PM
Wow! That’s a lot of requests! You’re right, maybe best to stay at home! Should still be able to feel the special atmosphere of the tournament even if you don’t get to a match

Argh, be a shame if you couldn’t see a World Cup game - really hope you can 🤞

Sounds like a nice routine to me! 👍 just be nice to see a few more wins at SS!

Yeah, it’s got the original wooden seats and a nice traditional feel. There’s even a nice view of the Thames from one of the stands!

It is I’m afraid. There are fairly decent train links though. I haven’t been up there for a while and aiming to soon. It’s funny how our sense of distance is so different!
September 29, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Well, you’ve got good options to choose from in London! Apparently Tottenham’s new stadium is super impressive! On the other end of the spectrum, Fulham’s is very nice in an old school way
