Long way indeed. Still think the DNC needs a structural overhaul before even thinking about candidate selection, but I love Beshear’s track record personally.

Apparently this is something she’s been planning for over a year. Just not a good look that it’s coming right after one of the biggest polling misses this election cycle.

I agree, unfortunately. Love the work he’s doing in Kentucky and think he’d be great in a general election, but can’t see him winning the primary at the moment.

But who knows what the landscape will look like in 2028.

Same, honestly.

1. Not sure where you pulled “think like me on you’re a dinosaur” from but that sounds like a projection.

2. This isn’t about “strategy”, it’s literally just breaking down how different age groups swung this election.

The graphic doesn't mention generation names at all. Just age ranges.

The reference to Gen X was a conclusion drawn from the graphic.

One that is reasonably inferred from what IS there.

How is this trolling?

Fair point.

Never giving him that title!

They’re both plotting against each other. And whoever comes out on top, Vance will be right there in support of them.

Good point. Still, Gen X has always been more favorable to conservatives compared to other generations.

We’re still waiting on them to pay for the first one 🤦‍♂️

Yep, no matter how good the policies are, if they can’t come across in a relatable way, it doesn’t even matter.

Even if the message isn’t true, if it *sounds* good enough, voters will flock to it.

Yeah between his polices on homelessness, high tax rates, and general perception as being a “super liberal”, he’ll have a high mountain to climb , and that’s just not what the DNC needs this next go round.

Ok I might go back and watch The Office again now 😂

I think Newsom at the top of the ticket is a losing strategy tbh. He doesn’t have a great track record in California and I don’t see how he’ll appeal to swing state voters.

I don’t think AOC is shooting for a VP position this early either. Could see her challenging for governor one day, though.
