History. Old movies. Books. Shenanigans.
This is even more incredible due to Dedham's history of racism. They are listed as a potential sundown town to this day.

Got my fingers crossed that Iran is authoritarian enough to convince their people that their nuclear program was not harmed and that a limited bunch of intercepted missiles shot at a US base was a hugely successful counter-attack.

Kenyan #journalist Alvin Kaunda was reporting live from Nairobi when a curious baby #elephant, Kindani, decided to join the broadcast. The playful elephant stuck her trunk in Alvin's mouth, making for a hilarious moment! A joyful reminder of wildlife's charm and the work of the Sheldrick Trust!

Every mainstream attempt to grapple with the rise of Tate and other misogynist ideologues have posed them as a product of men’s despair. Few have posited them as an assault on women’s safety and dignity.
We need to talk more about how it feels to be a woman amidst this sudden onslaught of “reclaiming masculinity,” celebrating male aggression and violence, and vanishing smart experienced women from positions of power.

May our haters forever be the minor background actors in the sketches we write of our lives.

Bowen Yang is an inspiration.

About the Joann closure: Yes, I order online, yes I can get some things at Walmart, but Joann always there and had the essentials. It's like auto parts. Yes you can order parts online, and there are some at Walmart, but if AutoZone & O'Reilly closed & you needed brake pads NOW where are you going?

When I was writing about remote work from 2021 to 2022 the thing I kept coming back to was the amount of bosses writing op-eds that showed they were never in the office but desperately needed people to be there so they could stomp around occasionally and feel important.

Today my father is out sanding today and with absolutely ZERO context he just sends me a picture of the interior of the White City Dunks.

Because of a joke @birbigs.bsky.social made in the early 2000s that location has forever since been called Dunkino Donutos

I asked how many donutos we had. 2.
