Saw a comment wondering about any descendants and it got me wondering what Gmerl would be doing. Enter Millie the Rabbit, caretaker of a Chao Garden in the desert. An ambush led to Gmerl being captured, and now the rabbit heads to the Egg Dome to rescue her family’s caretaker.

Bravely Second. An amazing followup to an outstanding first game. The mechanics and jobs are streamlined and tweaked, and the ability to request and offer aid can be a welcomed reprieve for any tough areas. And seeing your friends’ messages after the finishers can get a laugh or two.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Explorers of Sky. This one specifically, because it takes the already amazing system of its predecessor and adds extra side stories for a good number of the cast, as well as a post story that’ll have you crying all over again!!

Shadow the Hedgehog. I’ve always liked playing it, and never really experienced trouble with controls. Aside from a handful of levels, it’s always fun to replay. It’s edgy as hell and wild in its execution, but I’ll never get tired of it.

There are many duel simulators, but my favs have always been on the ds. Over the Nexus is the best of them, putting you in a new prologue in Crash Town and taking you to the WRGP, with plenty of motorcycle games inbetween. The card pool is also expansive, and perfect for testing rulings.

Easy start, Gold version had a lotta firsts for me. First Pokemon I leveled to 100, first time beating the Elite 4 100 times. I cut my fangs on the early battle system, and it did a lot to cement me as a fan.
