Don't scrutinize too closely, after 6 months away, I'm more or less back to square one with painting. These are my Port Royal "finished" militia. Might brave given them eyes tonight and try to healthy up the skin tone of some of them given they're supposed to be in Jamaica.

Slowly picking up where I left off in February when I stopped painting to focus on the house move. I think I need some new brushes, but I'm also out of practice. Look at these surly European Militia over in Jamaica out to spoil an honest pirate's good day.

The last game to make me actually gasp was Ghost of Tsushima and the way it introduced one of the stances was the coolest fucking thing I've seen in a game. Safe to say, I've been looking forward to starting this...

Perhaps if Labour spent more time focussing on good things like this, instead of their embarrassing hard on for kicking people out the country and dry humping Reform policies, they might have kept my membership.

And herein is the nub of the problem with this type of game. I'm 50 hours in now and playing this on easy. The last two hours have been taken up by 2 fights. First one was a massive beast of an opponent, I can accept that. This one was 1 Vs 3 with the 3 getting two turns each before my 1 go.

I spent a solid 15 minutes coming up with a new Wife/Wifi pun for the new place. I had to set them up separately for 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz last time (the 2nd & 3rd ones). People, don't do this, but also, don't leave it named as SKY63G93 or VM1376R and that horrible fucking default password. Do better.

After a day where she and Alby were woken at 4:30am, put in catboxes in a van at 6am, driven to a strange location and shut in a bathroom for 6 hours and then let into a strange new place after only knowing one home since kittens, I think Phillis is starting to cope pretty well on day 2.

We have at least three van loads at the old place and the place needs a pre-cleaner clean. We haven't even begun to sort things out here. Never the less, it's great to be in the new place.
